It’s been an awesome ride, and the journey is still beginning. There is definitely no doubt I will end up here.

Dolphin Classic 2011
Checked out Dolphin Classic this past weekend. It wasn’t the best weather for this year’s tournament, but some of the games were still played outside. I caught West Coast Classic’s team (black) which was made up of players from Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland. It was the semi-finals, the score kept close all the way to the 4th quarter. In the end, WCC lost the game, but everyone enjoyed it.

HP TouchPad Launch Ft. Alex Burrows
On Tuesday, Stark gave me a call and said that Whitney from Hill & Knowlton was throwing an event for HP’s TouchPad Tablet at their store in downtown Vancouver. Alex Burrows of the Canucks would be doing autograph signing and their original photographer bailed and asked me to step in. Took it in a second. Not only it was an awesome opportunity to a quick one day job to improve my portrait skills, but it was sick to meet Burrows.

A Restart
Now that our site is relaunched with a new look, be on the look on what’s ahead for theHUE. You’ll notice some of the team’s personal blogs are still rebuilding after an issue I ran into while redesigning. For myself and a couple others, we decided to start fresh.
I noticed there were a lot of you guys rechecking what C.D. of theHUE is up to, any random thoughts/posts, or what’s on the horizon on his next design. This is why I decided to give my blog a ‘do-over.’ So as I’m getting a fresh cut from my bro, follow me here or find me on Twitter, @mariosoriano.
